On Wednesday, June 3rd the sixth grade girls had a memoir publishing party at ASHAR. Parents and grandparents were invited. Each girl wrote about small moments of her life, under the direction of Dr. Schnur, and added photographs and beautiful covers (thank you, Ms. Walling, for coordinating the decoration of the covers). The girls took turns reading two of their many stories from their memoirs, and then walked around and shared their memoirs with the audience. Refreshments were served, and Yissie Steinhart took pictures. Thank you to the parents who did come, as well as to Yissie, Lauren Walling, the Sherut Leumi girls, and Ms. Nieves for attending. We were all very proud of our memoir authors!
