Bio:  Josh Friedman was born in New York but moved with his family to Israel at the age of 6. After elementary school, he graduated Or Etzion High School, whose principal was Rav Chaim Druckman. Josh learned at the hesder yeshiva in Har Bracha under Rav Eliezer Melamed as the initial part of his IDF service. He then went to officer’s school and graduated as a Lieutenant in the IDF Artillery Corp. Josh still serves in the reserves, having been called up for duty in the Second Lebanon War. After his regular army service, Josh earned his college degree in Technology Management & Marketing from the Jerusalem College of Technology (Machon Lev). Josh had worked as a tour operator in Israel before coming to Monsey with his family this past summer. Aside from his experience as a father of four young sons, Josh has worked with Israeli youth as a basketball coach and with American youth who visited Israel on tour.
