Bio:  Devorah O’Brien has twenty-seven years experience as an Early Childhood Educator. Devorah graduated from Hofstra University and continues her education by taking Professional Development courses in Early Childhood Education.   Morah Devorah works together with Ellen Pincus who has been at ASHAR for seven years and has recently completed a course on the Slingerland approach.

Together their integrated approach to education fuses Limudai Kodesh concepts with secular education helping to bring Torah concepts to life. They use creative arts, drama, art and music as a vehicle to help the students internalize concepts through active involvement. They recognize the need to teach to the entire class and adapt their curriculum accordingly. Their warm, energetic and lively personalities bring the classroom to life every day.
