Bio: Naomi Beller has been teaching second grade at ASHAR for the past 13 years. She lived in Brooklyn until the age of 12. Subsequently, her family made Aliyah to Israel where she attended “Chorev” High School and then went on to “Michlala” College for E.S.L. and Judaic Studies.

Upon relocating to America, Mrs. Beller taught various grades in Yeshivot Ahi Ezer and Be’er Hagolah. She also worked with elderly Russian immigrants, teaching them Judaic Studies and English as a Second Language.

Coming from a musical family (her father is the famous Chazzan Moshe Stern) she enjoys teaching by way of interactive learning through song and play. She believes in the importance of individualized instruction and in forming a close teacher-student-parent relationship. Her goal is to create a positive social and educational environment in the classroom so that each child will look forward to coming to school and will succeed in reaching his or her full potential.
