Department/Classes Taught: First Grade Limudei Kodesh
Bio: Morah Sharona Linetsky was born in Israel and grew up in Belgium. She returned to Israel at the age of 18 where she attended Michlala and earned her teacher’s certificate. She also obtained a B.S. degree from Touro College. After getting married and settling in Passaic, NJ, Morah Sharona ran Israeli-style Ulpanim for children ages 4-8, teaching Hebrew in a fun manner. She was a teacher and assistant in Ben Porat Yosef in Leonia, NJ and taught Hebrew school for two years prior to moving to the Monsey area last summer.
That’s when she began her path at Ashar as an Ashar proud mom to Yossi in pre-k and a first grade Morah. This year she is also teaching Lashon to the 6th grade girls.
Morah Sharona strives to imbue a sense of love for Torah, Mitzvot, Israel, and the Hebrew language. She teaches through songs and play, and likes to give each child the individual attention that he/she needs.
