Bio: Mrs. Donna Monticello is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She has taught Second Grade and has over 25 years experience in computer technology. She has worked for Panasonic and Equitable Life as a computer trainer for adults and as a network administrator. As an employee of the ComputerTots company she has taught Computer Engineering Classes to elementary school students at the Gifted Child Society and had been a Computer Technology teacher at a private elementary school in New Jersey.

What's Happening in Computer Lab
During the week of October 27...The Computer Lab was transformed into
Voting Headquarters. Individual computers turned into voting booths.
All students in Grades 5-8 participated in
National Student Mock Election.
THE RESULTS ARE IN!

In the National Student Mock Election held last week,
ASHAR students in Grades 5-8 voted
John McCain the winner.
McCain received 94 votes, while Obama received 20.
Schools in all 50 states participated. Overall results show Barack Obama the winner. He received 64.24% of votes, while McCain received 32.16%
New York results show Obama the winner. He received 68.77% of votes while, McCain received 26.78.
